![]() Granted no briefings, but I can do without those in a generated camapign. Let me take my core force from 39 until 45/46/47 through hundreds of battles. ![]() With a random generator it (in my opinion) keeps PCII viable for far longer after that point and gives us something to do until PCIII comes out.Īnyway just a suggestion, a suggestion mind you that I would gladly pay for as a DLC (random campaign generator). Eventually I assume PCII will cease to have new DLC's as the company moves on to other projects. I can't recall when SPWaW came out, but I still play it today because of the random campaign generator. My suggestion is for longer term replayability. I understand that it wouldn't be "historical". A lot of extra balance and featured needed for skirmish campaigns to feel properly campaign-like. Panzer Corps 2 has a random scenario generator, so you can really launch into skirmishes with a good variety of nations and years already.īut taking it to the next step of random scenarios that attach to each other to form a campaign. The good news is that ground work for such a thing exists. I also enjoyed the Wesnoth random campaigns too. I remember that campaign generator, lots of fun piling my army on a hilltop and raining down death. Good for a quick brawl, but I think if they released skirmish campaigns and treated it like a normal campaign, a lot of historically minded players wouldn't be pleased. To make 'Briefing-Scripts' more user-friendly and easier to make. the player could then choose/select which one/one's suits him best. then if these objectives are in line with a pre-made briefing script or other some-such compatible scripts. Once the "Campaign Objectives/Targets" are selected for the Generator. but in any-case to finally arrive in Africa. that I want to start off as 'Italy' in the Balkans. Any kind of briefing, or writing, or advanced objective systems would probably not be possible in random generation, and not very interesting even if it could be.Įg: Say. Īnd even after that, skirmish campaigns won't really be a campaign replacement. The good news is that ground work for such a thing exists.īut taking it to the next step of random scenarios that attach to each other to form a campaign.
